Taylor is 2 weeks old

Check Taylor out, she is getting soooo big! Today Taylor is 2 weeks old...well...technically not until 6:16 p.m.. At last weeks doctor visit she gained 11 oz and 1 inch...so, now she weighs about 6 lbs. 12 oz and is 19 1/2 inches, maybe more. She is starting to be more alert and tracks us as we talk to her. She is holding her neck up all on her own, she's so strong. She is a blessing and we know we are lucky because she has been pretty easy so far and allows mom and dad to sleep 4 or more hours at night.

Baby's First Valentine's Day!!

Today Taylor had her first Valentine's Day and was fashioned out in her Valentine's Day outfit, courtesy of Auntie April.

I am ecstatic to announce the birth of our first child, Taylor Harriet Mariko Rieck. She was born on Feb. 4, 2008 and is PERFECT! She came into the world at 6:16 p.m. and weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. She has a long, but meaningful and strong name that she, no doubt ably, will grow into. Taylor has already won over the hearts of her entire family, and is being spoiled and loved by all. She has definitely changed Kurt and my view on life and we are excited about our new journey with Taylor.
